Charlotte Wontner has worked extensively across drama and documentary in film and television as a producer and in development. Her hands-on experience of running a budget and organising large productions is invaluable and she has had immense success in selling and promoting her films at festivals throughout the world. Recently Charlotte has produced a 35mm micro short entitled Shrink, starring Timothy and Sam West, and a ten minute digital horror movie trailer for the feature film The Sick House. This feature film project has been selected for the Screen South "Ready To Go" scheme and screenings to the Industry have been taking place in London and LA. In 2002 Charlotte produced the 35mm short A Fairy Story, which was selected for "Critics Week" at the Cannes Film Festival, was runner up at the Kodak Short Film Showcase Award s 2002, short-listed for the Academy Award s and screened at the International London Film Festival and several festivals in the USA and Europe. Since setting up Hopscotch Films with Clara Glynn she has produced the twenty minute drama It's Not You It's Me which was short-listed for BAFTA and nominated for the Turner Classic Movie Award s 2001 and production managed Clara's ten minute short Unscrew (2003). Both these films were commissioned by BBC2 and BBC Films and will be transmitted on BBC2 and BBC3. Charlotte's documentary work includes the C4 series Naked News, C4's Equinox God Only Knows, the BBC2 Modern Times The Partners, the BBC1 Omnibus Dancing Through Darkness. She production managed Clara Glynn's four part series for BBC2 Alan Clark's History Of The Tory Party and then went on to Associate Produce Clara's film Last Years Tories for C4's Cutting Edge. Charlotte has several documentary feature film projects in development as well as a film/art Installation about Gypsy life commissioned by Film London which goes into post-production this summer.
